It's Been a While...

Hey Everyone!
I know, it's been like five months since I made a post and I feel so bad! But I had so much to do, I was slipping on my top priortiy (school of course!) and I needed all of my attention focused on keeping them up. Don't worry I'm doing beter now! Lol.
Anyways, I just wanted to touch base with all of you guys. I was reading my last post (My wish list) and I noticed how much my style has changed from then. I was so in love with Hollister and Abercrombie. But recently I've been going for more trendy tops than a t-shirt and moccasins, and I'm proud of that! I'd love to start doing outfit of the day posts so you can get a sense of what I like to wear. I might have one up soon cause I'm loving my outfit today, lol.

Hey Everyone!
So lately I've been wanting just a couple things. I plan to save up some how (I might make a post about what I plan to do) so I can pay for them myself. Hey Everyone!

So as you all know, today is the very last day of 2010, making it NewYears Eve! This year I'm going to a family friends house where they host a party every New Years. Last year I thought it was lame that I was still going with my parents instead of hanging out with friends. So my parents and I made a deal, I was to alternate between going to my friends New Years Party instead of my family friends every year. So this year I'm going to be with the family, which I don't mind as much anymore.

Anyways, I wanted to tell you guys how I'll be doing my hair, make up, and outfit. So here it is:

HAIR loose and bouncy curls, like this picture of Ashley Greene.

MAKEUP Silver, slightly winged out liner.
MAC's All That Glitters eyeshadow dusted all over the lid.
MAC's Pro Long wear concealer in NW35 and MSF Natural In Medium Dark.
Falsies Mascara.

Holidays are Over... GIVE ME SUMMER!

Hey Everyone!

Now that Holidays are over, there are sales on all winter clothes or pretty much anything that was for the winter seasaon. Thats makes me happy cause well, its not hurting the bank! But, it makes me sad cause I think Summer is just around the corner even though Spring didn't even start yet. I live in New England so you can't dress for spring (meaning light sweaters, strappy shoes, capris, burmudas, and some days shorts) untill late March early April. Since it rains so much for us in April, everyone covers up. It's like stores are trying to make us think Winter is over since the Holidays are, so when they come out with their Spring/Summer Collections we buy fast. Even though for the most part, its the middle of January and you can't wear most of it for another two months! It's a bummer cause by the time Spring does come, the things you bought are all on sale. So be smart and don't buy next seasons clothes now, you have so much time until you actually start needing thoes clothes.

On the other hand, even though I won't buy anything for Spring yet, I am looking at the clothes and thinking what style I should go for next season. In the Summer and Fall I'm usually dressed in just casual/boho outfits. Winter I'm all for the preppy look. For Spring, I have a different style each year, this year I'm loving the preppy outfits. For thoes who are wondering how I fit preppy into my Spring waredrobe each year, I would wear thoes nice classic shirts, like this:

tucked into some denim shorts that aren't too short, and a skiny braided belt with back flip flops to tie it all together. Because I have everything but the shirt, that would be all I'd need to add into my waredrobe. I have so many more outfits I could create for the Spring but I'll save that for later, When Spring is actually close by.

Three Times in One Week, and Still Wanting More!

Hey Everyone!

So today I went to the mall... for the THIRD time this week! I know, I know. I need to stop, but I have an explination for all times! So on the 24th, I went to the mall with my older cousin so we can go last minute Christmas shopping. On the 27th, I went again because we had a power outage from 2-9PM and we needed to get out of the house since it was freezing inside. There was an electrical pole that fell close by my house and 3 neighbor hoods had no power. And I got Hollister jeans for $19.97, a steal compared to the orginal price, $40. They were having a 50% off sale on all jeans for the two days after Christmas and that day was the last. I HAD to get thoes jeans, they were just too cute! And half off! And today, or at least earlier on today, I went because I haven't seen my best friend (shout out to you Becca!) at all during break and we needed to hang, so the mall it was! All I got today was a shell and pearl long necklace from For Love 21 for $5.80 because I needed one to go with my New Years outfit and another one I was going to wear on Monday. We have a game we're cheering at and we have to dress up and the necklace was a much needed accessorie to go with that outfit.

Even though I went to the mall, I controlled myself and didn't buy so much. I for one am proud. Lol. Even though I got everything I wanted and more for Christmas, I'm eyeing these Victoria's Secret PINK Slouchy Pants in the color pink.

Aren't they so cute?! Well they're $39.50 so I'm kind of iffy about buying them. Their part of the Spring Collection so I still have time before they sell out and I live the rest of my life in regret. Trust me, it happens way too often.

In conclusion, all I want, for now atleast, are VS PINK Slouchy Pants in pink. Oh and just wondering, do you guys have a seperate PINK store at your mall, or is it combined with VS? I've been to malls where they don't have the two store seperate. At my mall we have both stores, I like it better that way only because it makes it alot less crowded and messy.

Holiday Season is Almost Over!

Hey Everyone!
Now I know I said this would be a beauty/fashion blog, but there will be a few random post here and there. This being one of them.
As you all now, Christmas was just a few days ago, ending, what for me atleast, the happiest season of all. Christmas is truely the most magical day on Earth. That feeling you get waking up in the morning, knowing that your about to open a bunch of presents, be with family, and one of my favorites, seeing the reaction of giving presents.
This year I gave my mom a candle from BBW since she's been obsessed with them lately, and fuzzy socks that were sented, infussed with shea butter, and had grips at the bottom. She loved them both, but she's especially in love with the socks, she wears them all the time. Every time I see her wear them it makes me feel happy, like I truely picked the perfect present out for her, even thought they were only $5, lol.
For my dad I bought the spacial collectors edition of Avatar. We saw it in theaters together when it first came out and I never seen him so crazed about a movie. Everytime we go to RedBox to rent a movie, he always looks for Avatar, so I new that was the ideal present for him. It was $24 at BJ's Wholesale Club and another $3 for a HUGE luxery bow from CVS for the perfect topping on the wrapping. Although the movie was pretty expensive considering Im a full time student, it was worth it after seeing his face opening it on Christmas. For my beloved brother I gave the one present that can't be wrapped, my love. He gave me the L.L. Bean wicked good moccasins and a phone case for the PanTech Ease my dad gave to me on Christmas. The case was a good idea since after 2 cracked screens and a drop in the toilet, I've become notorious for breaking phones. But I do feel so bad since I didn't get my brother (who is 18 by the way) anything for Christmas after he got me two AMAZING presents and I just feel terrible that I gave him nothing in return. But don't worry, he'll recive some awesome presents from me next year.
All in all, I personally think nothing comes close to December 25th, being with family, opening gifts, and just being happy. Don't get me wrong, New Years is cool, I mean I get to wear pretty sparkely dresses on that holiday but that's pretty much the highlight.
Sad part is, after January 1st, we still have a bunch boring winter untill Summer(: The best 3 months of the year. Lol.
